Family Dinner @ Yellow Cab Pizza Co.

this new pizza joint is situated at a corner lot at a junction between jln dang wangi n jln raja abdullah, opposite the dang wangi PUTRA station. with a bright yellow signage n vespas parked in front of the entrance, you'll hardly miss it.
the place...
its not really a restaurant like Pizza Hut or Shakeys. they only have limited outdoor n indoor seating area. but i like their industrial setting...
they dont serve their pizza in a hot pan but instead in a takeout pizza box. n they use paper plates n plastic cutleries. sort of Dominos style...
the food...
but the pizza is nothing like Dominos...
they have two categories of toppings; classic and specialty. classic consists of typical pizza toppings i.e hawaiian, pepperoni, vegetarian, etc. but specialty is what separates them from other pizza joints, with toppings like corona chicken salsa, tribeca mushroom, gourmet garden, etc.
some of the ingredients they use for specialty toppings are shiitake mushroom, zucchini, grilled eggplant, shrimp and many more...
they also have side dishes such as baked potato, ham & cheese calzone, spaghetti meatballs and charlie chan chicken pasta.
what we ordered?
new york's finest - similar to super supreme. average...
#4 cheese - four types of cheese; mozzarella, cheddar, romano & feta. cheese heaven!!! 
the price...
their pizza comes in three sizes, 10", 14" and 18". price starts from RM19 up to RM69.70.
my conclusion...
i will definitely come again to try all their specialty pizza and side dishes...

i started to develop interest in photojournalism when i saw Umi's wedding album done by Saifulnang. after that i started to follow up with Saifulnang's blog updates before moving on to Candid Syndrome website.
then 4 months ago i installed Adobe Photoshop n Adobe Illustrator into my sis laptop hoping that i could do some photo editing myself. but to my dissappointment, it's not as easy as using Microsoft Word for the first time.
when i about to surrender n decide to take a paid Photoshop course, my generous friend, Mr.Izwan, was willing to teach me the basic of AP. 
so here i present my first trial...
its not perfect yet...still receive a few advice from Mr.Izwan...
i took this photo during my travel to Spain last year...

i went with my sis and my frens, asfa n jemah. it's about two and a half hours show.
guest artistes were hattan and liza hanim. the maestro was eddie marzuki. and ally iskandar was the host.
the verdict...
worth every cent...i'm glad i bought the seats near to the stage. i got to see alleycats, guest artistes and the orchestra upclose.

that's Ucuk...yes he's back in town for the weekend...yeay!!! after my whining, "bila nk blk...bila nk blk...", everytime we talked over the phone...hehehe
the best part was he made it a surprise, i didn't know anything about it. suddenly appear at my office, but unfortunately i was in a training. when i came back, he's gone and my colleague informed me. i didn't believe them at first. then i called him and he said yes...i jumped in joy
we spend a lot of time together that weekend...hmmm

normal hotel restaurant setting. not too crowded. enuf space to move around.
the food...
what consider a money-worth buffet hi-tea to me n my family? as long as they serve delicious prawns n cheesy cheesecake n keep it coming...thats good enuf for us.
n here, they did that...as you can see in the pics
food was great. we went home with a full belly n satisfied smile...
the price...
RM40++ per person
my conclusion...
worth it but it'll be even better if they include a complimentary stalk of red or pink rose to mothers...

ive always been curious on how does it feel to keep changing my hair from one style to another, the way hollywood actresses do it to their hair. they change it every year...some even twice or more a year. how they take care and keep it healthy and beautiful from all the hairsprays, gels and mousse and hairdryer, flat and curling irons...
of course they have their own personal hairstylist...what about common people like me...
so i saved up some money, went to ELLE, asked for Gemma n she starts her magic...
and here was how my hair evolved for the past few years till now...
year 2005 to 2006 was long and wavy (natural curl)
in 2007, i changed it to short and straight (salon called it relaxing) with highlights
and now it turns to mid-length and permed
the salon...

i've been going here for years. love their service especially hair spa..been continuously taking their package for 3 years now. eventhou i live in kl now, i dont have any intention to change to another salon.

how much i miss you...

its been 19 days since we saw each other before he flew off to Labuan. since then we've been keeping in touch thru phone n email. we dont have 3G phones, plus, theres no 3G in Labuan (or is there?). no webcam either...
so 19 days without seeing him face to face has been the most dreadful days... 
he did send his pics thru mms couple of time but its not the same. i miss him so much...
